A nice, not so new idea on marios behalf. Enough comments, onto good/bad:
THE GOOD:
Flawless animation, smooth
Good sound-overs, nice working with sprites
Funny to a certain extent
THE BAD:
Not always an original idea: -1/10
Music kinda suxored: -2/10
Aimed at a certain audience: -0/10
Comments: deserves a sequel, and youve done a good job. Try and... go there with the original ideas however. Sorry if you dissagree.

You've got a fluid nature for action script, for the game is bug-proof... nearly. I'll list the good bad, acrid rose style ;)
THE GOOD:

Suitable name? Pac-monster or something would be better: -0/10
Glitch when switching between qualities- caught in wall: -1/10
Music just annoying!: -2/10

Yay love scripting. And well, found my graphics style.
Well, I it is stupid. quality affects the hitTest function for shapes. Well, and the way I have it there is no way getting in/ out of the wall.
You ll have to choose your quality when your not playing.

Music is matter of opinion. I really love it.
Usually I am not in that series thing, I rather make new things. so I guess you won't see a Pac2 for quite a while.

COMMENTS: I feel the audience is aimed at people who know no flash, which is fine, but its not at my audience. Maybe something for everyone would be nice. None the less, very lovely.

Well I designed this tutorial to be just for beginners so they didn't end up wandering somewhere where they can't compete. A true beginner flasher shouldn't have to worry about action script. They shouldn't have to worry about advanced graphic techniques. They just need to focus on learning flash, and getting a firm grip on the basics. And I think I did a good job establishing that with this tutorial. And I'm glad you liked the music :D, I wanted to choose a selection of songs that everyone could enjoy.
